Mike Allaire

Evil Mike has been tattooing since 1999, with three of those years spent operating and managing shops.  Mike has worked at Blue Line of Lacrosse WI, Tatu Royale of Winona MN, and Third Street Custom Tattoo of Lacrosse WI.  He is currently a part time artist at Tatu Royale, and manages Third Street in Lacrosse the rest of his time.  

Mike has been an artist for his whole life and attended St. Joseph's University where he graduated with a B.A. in studio art.  After college he got into screen printing which lead to his interest in tattooing.  Mike was greatly inspired by the works of Paul Booth.  His black and grey artwork led Mike to be further interested in Tattooing.  He finds it inspiring to see visual arts that stand the test of time. 

Working with other talented artists keeps Mike motivated to continue tattooing and always improving.  He enjoys doing every style of tattooing and he relishes the challenges that each piece presents.  Mike’s goal is to get on the same page with the customer in order to give them exactly what they want.  He prefers doing original artwork, thus creating a unique and one-of-a-kind tattoo for you.  It is important to him that you get the most bomb tattoo ever!
In the future Mike wishes to be more self sufficient and to work more for himself.  His goal is to try build himself as a business and to work with a variety of artists to expand his experiences.  He wants to continue to spread the love and philosophy of Tatu Royale where ever he may go.

Mike leaves these words to his customers to help them in their tattooing experience:
Really figure out what you want before you get a tattoo.  Think about your design and find a good artist.  Always look at the portfolios, because not all tattoo artists are created equally.  Follow your aftercare; it is essential to the longevity of your tattoo.
