Tatu Royale first opened in August of 2008 in downtown Winona Minnesota. Since then we have been raising the bar on the tattooing industry. Our lead artist Chad Gregerson, whom passed away in September of 2010, was on the board advocating for stricter tattooing laws in the state of Minnesota. Chad's view was why take chances with your tattoo and your tattoo studio. Even though Chad has passed away,we still abide by his rule - safety comes first at Tatu Royale.
Standards and Expectations
Tatu Royale holds the highest standards for our staff and artists. We believe it is extremely important for you the customer to receive the highest quality work possible while having an enjoyable experience. We currently have four licensed artists working in our shop, as well as two licensed piercers. We also have three in-house staff members that are here to help you with your decisions. They are all very knowledgeable about jewelry options, piercings, and tattoos and will always consult a tattooing or piercing specialist for you if you need a detailed explanation about our process or our products. Just remember that everyone is here to help you and you should always feel free to ask as many questions as you need to. We want to help you become better informed as a client.
Our tattoo artists, Eric, Christine, Mike, and Amado, and our piercing artists, Sheba and Jen, bring a wide variety of talents to our shop, allowing for you to find exactly what you want for a piercing or tattoo. Our staff – Precious, Jayston, and Emerald – are here to help you find which artist is best for you. They maintain a professional atmosphere, while trying to make the experience as enjoyable as possible.
Custom Work - Designed Specifically for You
We are a custom tattooing studio and do all original art work. When you bring us your idea for your tattoo we do what we can to make that idea as original and workable as possible. Sometimes an artist can help you develop an idea that is a basic out line into a full fledged tattoo that embodies all the important elements that you yourself wanted. We specialize in perfecting your tattoo, and making it flow with your body, and with your other body art and modifications.
We also know that no tattoo artist is the same, and that sometimes an old tattoo needs to be revamped whether it was poorly executed, or whether you are just ready for something new. We love to take old work and make it into something that is more beautiful, or hard core, whichever is your preference.
